Flicker DC

FlickerTorch Kit

Kit consists of a 3/4 by 4 inch dimmer board and a plug in board with 4 watt halogen bulb, a 6" extension cable, battery cable, and 2 lamps. This little jewel really puts out a lot of light! The system can bring a practical torch (or candle) up to a usable level when in close proximity to an actor. The FlickerTorch electronics assembly provides a random flickering effect to the lamp. Dimmer, damping, and speed controls allow the user to make critical adjustments to the effect. Custom assemblies can be made to your exacting specifications (see Prop Lanterns below). Modular! FlickerLantern Pro

Hurricane style (sometimes called barn or railroad), metal, kerosene type, lantern with frosted glass, appx. 12" high. Has the standard bail for hanging. This is like the real thing with our Magic included! A lamp is positioned where a flame would be. Very convincing effect. Uses the same type flicker generator/dimmer as the FlickerTorch. Adjustable "fire personality" controls include: dimmer, flicker speed and damping (smoothness). False base conceals permanently mounted flicker unit. Includes 3x9 volt battery harness for totally portable operation. Optional universal AC adapter available. Other lantern styles available including "Antique" and others.
