Available in several styles, all have our exclusive electronic fire simulation burning inside.

The lanterns are quite attractive and the fire effect subtle yet very realistic (not "blinky"), based on our original design which has been used in many famous motion pictures.

ANTIQUE NEWPORT HURRICANE

Currently, the lanterns are available in 3 styles, Antique, Newport, and Hurricane, as shown above. The Antique burns with a simulated candle fire and the Newport and Hurricane have simulated kerosene fire. All of them are powered by low voltage power supplied by a wall transformer. They are also available for use at 12 volts DC for mobile or boat use.
The cover glass is frosted so you see the flame source but not the "flame" and it has been given a soot-like treatment to add to the realism. The bulb is tinted to give just enough color, simulating a flame without a huge wash of ruddy light. Lamps are available in several sizes up to 22 watts, though the included 4 watt bulb supplies a realistic amount of light.

SIGNED BY THE ARTIST Though the basic lantern shell is not made by the artist, the true art is in the realistic fire effect and the cosmetic treatment of the finished lantern.

Each one is hand made and signed by the artist.

The Flicker Lantern concept began when we were asked to squeeze our fire simulation special effects equipment into a lantern for a motion picture. The firelight is generated by a microchip which recreates the ebb and flow of a real flame.

LANDSCAPE FIRELIGHT MODULE

LANDSCAPE FIRELIGHT MODULE PICTURE This tiny device is easily connected between the 12 volt (or other) AC supply transformer and individual landscape lights. Attached with crimp connectors (provided) with a simple 3 wire hookup. The sealed 1.5 X 1.5 inch module can be buried or installed inside the lamp housing. The random multi-level light output provides a very realistic, though subtle, fire effect. Imagine real firelight inside many landscape fixtures!
